July 1st 2008 A pocket-sized infrared camera has
been introduced by FLIR Systems.
The i5 weighs less than 340g, has
an 80 by 80 pixel ir resolution and
thermal sensitivity of 60mk that
provides a
clear
infrared
image so
that faults
can be
identified and
remedial action
taken. A long
life battery
provides up to
5h of continuous
operation.
Temperatures to
250°C can be measured
and the camera can detect thermal
