Level measurement
July 1st 2007

Endress+Hauser's Prosonic S FMU 90 ultrasonic transmitters have a measuring range of up to 70m and offer continuous, noncontact level measurement of everything from fluids, paste and sludge to powdery and coarsegrained bulk solids.

The straightforward, menuguided operation (via its 6-line plain text display) means there are no codes to decipher, while the envelope curves on the display allow the user to see exactly what the instrument sees. Calculations are delivered in the form required –

as an average, difference or sum.

The free operating software provides reliable commissioning, maintenance and documentation of the measuring point and, with Hart and Profibus DP connectivity, Prosonic S can be retrofitted easily to existing systems.

With the addition of the Prosonic S FMU95 transmitter to the range, five sensors are now connectable as standard, but there is the possibility for 10 sensor connections as an option.
