Makes light of sealing
March 1st 2007 For a limited period, Henkel Loctite Adhesives is offering purchasers of special packs of its Loctite 55 Sealing Cord a free Solitaire Maglite torch. The pocket-size torch provides a high intensity light beam that can be adjusted from spot to flood. It includes an extended strap that allows the light beam and key to be used together in the same direction. A spare lamp is in the tail cap. The promotional pack contains four containers of Loctite 55. This sealing cord is said to effectively replace traditional methods of sealing metal and plastic threaded pipes, such as PTFE tape, pastes and solvent drying compounds. Thin fibres are wound around the male threads of the joint and cut using the built-in edge. The joint is sealed at once and is said to last almost indefinitely. More articles from Henkel Ltd: |
