Clean coffee July 1st 2008 Kraft Foods uses S+S metal
detection equipment to ensure
ingredients used in the production
of Kraft Cappucino powder are free
from contamination. To meet
Hazard Analysis and Critical
Control Points (HACCP)
requirements, all bulk ingredients
are checked for ferrous and nonferrous
metal contamination at
goods inwards as they pass along
vacuum tubes to the mixing
equipment. Inspection at the very
start of the production process
eliminates the risk of damage to
the mixing equipment. If
contamination is detected, the
S+S 'Quick Flap System',
minimises waste and loss of
production by rejecting only the
