Emc reference on cd
July 1st 2007

A free CD with PDF versions of 20 practical guides relating to EMC immunity and emission standards, many of which are called up by the EMC Directive, is available from REO UK. On the same CD there are also guides on Mains Harmonics and Good EMC Engineering Practices for Panel Builders plus six technical articles covering related subjects.

These articles reflect current changes in EMC legislation such as the new EMC Directive 2004/108/EC, which will repeal the old directive on 20 July 2007 and new Harmonics Standard EN61000-3-12 that will come into force on 1 February 2008. The CD brings together all the Practical Guides published by REO in hardcopy for an easy-access reference source for just about every topic related to current EMC standards. Together with the technical articles, there are more than 800 pages of information, a 'bible' for all engineers concerned with designing, testing and installing electrical equipment. The guides and articles are especially useful for dipping into to get a quick grasp of a particular EMC problem or question. The guides also suggest practical and simple test setups and solutions.
