July 1st 2007 Durapipe UK has been recognised
for its achievements in sustainable
working practices by being
accepted onto the Black Country
Business Environment Association
Charter, which assesses a
company's commitment to
environmental responsibility. The
BCBEA awards at different levels -
bronze, silver, gold and platinum.
Awarded the highest
accreditation, the platinum level,
Durapipe UK was required to meet
a variety of criteria in order to
receive the award.
During the assessment the
manufacturer demonstrated that it
enforces a strict environmental
policy, has environmental
performance indicators in place
that reflect key environmental
issues, has implemented an
environmental management
system and acheived
certification
