Pipework solutions

When new refrigeration systems were being installed in the production room of a Midlands-based food processing plant, process cooling specialist Pennine Environmental Services turned to Durapipe ABS and Duracool systems for pipework that would carry molypropolene glycol.

Duracool, the pre- insulated ABS pipework system from Durapipe UK was installed at ceiling level in sizes ranging to 110mm.

The design incorporates a free spigot end and includes Easi-strip that allows the insulation to be trimmed back easily, leaving a clean pipe end for standard solvent weld jointing. Labour time and costs are reduced.

Durapipe ABS in sizes to 160mm was installed in the roof void of the production room. It was chosen for its lightweight construction that makes it quick and easy to install, and is said to have exceptional impact strength and corrosion-free properties.
