When the DuBay polymer plant in Hamm-Üntrop, Germany, needed the speedy installation of more than 2000 special supports for pipework (nominal diameters to 200mm), the solution was provided by Halfen’s Powerclick system.

A further requirement was that the system should allow quick, easy and economical modification in the future.

Comprising a minimum of components that are all available ex-stock, Powerclick’s flexibility comes from a box-section channel that incorporates a toothed channel, giving great torsional strength and safe load distribution.

The channel, assembled by means of connectors, accepts rapid-assembly captive bolts for the fixing of pipe clamps and other accessories. The components are supplied pre-assembled.

The company says that pipework installation was carried out in record time.
