Thermostat in a box
September 1st 2005

Available from Spelsberg, the new IP65 protected HT Series of thermostats is designed to remove the assembly and specification cost from installing thermostats on trace heating applications.

Lower temperature versions are suitable for use as frost protection for water systems in buildings, while higher temperature range units are designed for industrial process applications.

Using Spelsberg’s tough TK enclosures and versatile RK range of DIN rail terminals, the series provides off-the-shelf temperature control in the range of 0 - 40, 30 to 120 and 50 to 320°C.

Bespoke solutions using other thermostats and accessories are available, giving a quick-to-install solution for controlling the heat of fluids in pipes and header tanks.

Spelsberg believes the HT series will enable maintenance engineers to cut the cost of temperature management tasks. There are two standard models: one for ambient air temperature monitoring; one for contact monitoring.
