Less friction September 1st 2006 HepcoMotion says one of the key differences between its new LBCG Series of ball cage guides and alternative systems is that the design ensures minimum ball and cage contact. This reduces friction, extends system life and promotes higher load and movement capacities.
A newly designed ball cage is said to reduce noise, enable higher running speeds and to boost accuracy.
LBCG is introduced as part of the LBG linear ball guide product programme. The caged system ensures equi-spacing of the balls, providing even load distribution and smoothness.
The design also allows the oil membrane to adhere more easily to the balls while in motion, promoting a long working life and long maintenance intervals. More articles from Hepco Group (UK): |
