Glycol-free chiller May 1st 2010 Walter Meier (Climate UK) has
introduced a glycol-free version of its
Blue Box Zeta Echos FC free cooling
chiller. It is said to be capable of
delivering up to 35% energy savings
over conventional air cooled chillers
and is suitable for applications such as
data centres where chillers operate 24
hours a day.
The chiller has two physically
separated hydraulic circuits, using
glycol for the free cooling coil and
pure water to the evaporator and
indoor units. Efficiency is further
enhanced by the Free Cooling system
which has a single fan section and
uses a design that locates the
condensing coil and the free cooling
coil at opposite sides of the unit.
Walter Meier believes the Zeta
Echos units to have the highest
Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio
(SEER) in their class. More articles from Climaveneta UK Ltd: |
