To ensure that small PM motors or linear actuators get the careful control they need in order to give long life and reliability, Curtis Instruments has introduced two tiny microprocessor-based MOSFET controllers.

The 1211 is a full quadrant 24V DC sealed unit that can supply up to 25A peak current. If that is too much power, the user can plug into their PC (with the Curtis 1314 interface kit) and adjust the parameters. In addition to current limit, maximum speed, acceleration and braking rates are adjustable.

Model 1224 is a 12V unit that offers single direction control. It can deliver up to 40A peak.
