Upgraded software

Fluid Dynamics has upgraded its in-house Expert 5 water analysis software, which now features more detailed information on cooling tower performance and the ability to predict cycles of concentration.

Following analysis of the water, the Expert 5 software is used to predict the performance of Fluid Dynamics' catalytic water conditioners under those site-specific conditions. A feature in Expert 5 is its ability to analyse a wider range of parameters on cooling towers. The company can predict cycles of concentration and enable the end user to top up less frequently, saving significant amounts of water. Expert 5 was developed following extensive research at UKAEA Harwell into the mechanism of Fluid Dynamics catalytic water conditioners.
