Repair kits designed for pneumatic equipment
November 1st 2007

Thorite has launched a Pneumatics Breakdown Kit that contains a range of products designed to ensure costly interruptions, due to pneumatic failures on production and processing equipment, are kept to an absolute minimum.

Kits are supplied in a robust, portable case and contain a range of valves, solenoids, fittings and hose clips, sufficient to cover the most common breakdown occurrences. Now production and maintenance engineers can feel secure in the knowledge that they have the means of effecting simple, quick repairs to their pneumatics systems, resulting in major down-time savings.

Speaking at the launch of the breakdown kits, Alan Donkersley, sales director commented: "Thorite is serious about providing the highest levels of service possible for our industrial customers and we are constantly developing new ways to make their operations more efficient.

"Although the repair may not represent the final solution, it will be more than adequate until the correct like-for-like components can be delivered and installed, or until a Thorite engineer can advise on a complete solution to prevent the failure recurring." Kits contain more than £220.00 of products, but cost just £150.00.

They are available from Thorite's NDC, from the company's eight regional sales and service centres, or online: www.thorite.co.uk.
