Chains and sprockets

distributes the Fenner Plus range
of chain and sprockets.
The solid rollers of the Fenner
Plus transmission roller chain are
manufactured to achieve a high
surface hardness and ensure high
wear resistance. This is said to
boost the chain's performance in
hostile environments.
Shot peened plates help extend
chain life further. The process
relieves the stresses that build up
during manufacture and reduces
the likelihood of fatigue failure in
the field. As the chain plates are
punched progressively, hole
concentricity and accuracy of both
diameter and pitch is maintained.
This results in a quiet, accurate
mesh with sprockets, and eases pin
extraction when splitting the chain.
Chain pins are specially case
hardened to ensure resistance to
abrasion from dust and debris is
maximised, which helps minimise
chain stretch. The chain is
