21 years of monitoring
November 1st 2007 Monitran celebrates 21 years in business this year and is already planning for the next 21 years. Donald Lyon, MD, (pictured) says "Over the 21 years we have been in business, the name of Monitran has become synonymous with vibration and displacement measurement transducers, and we have an impressive track record of customising products for bespoke applications." Monitran's products are used for monitoring vibration in machinery (such as pumps, motors, engines and drive trains) in a diverse range of applications. Products are at home in any application where vibrations or displacements provide early indications of mechanical wear or that a structure's integrity has been compromised.
