The Series 140 pyrometer from Impac Infrared replaces the Series 120. Improvements have been made in almost all fields, including electronics, optics and mechanics. The new version is interchangeable with all existing 120 instruments. The pyrometer will measure metal temperatures from 50 to 3500C. Use of fully digital signal processing gives it a high dynamic range, while a modular interface system allows it to communicate with common Bus systems. A built-in display unit shows temperature reading and operation mode and a test current output feature tests the integrity of wiring to external devices.
