May 1st 2009 The new Raytek CM is a compact,
integrated IR non-contact
thermometer intended for continuous
temperature monitoring in a wide
range of industrial manufacturing
processes and OEM applications.
According to Raytek, the rugged,
IP65 sealed, single-piece integrated
sensor ensures a consistent
manufacturing process and allows
tighter tolerances on heating
processes, reducing heating costs
while improving process throughput
and product quality.
Designed for easy integration, the
CM sensor can easily replace
traditional contact probes with a Jtype
or K-type thermocouple
output, or with a user-scaleable 0-5
volt output, if the application is
