Simplifies test data mining management
March 1st 2006 National Instruments believes the introduction of its NI DIAdem 10.0 software for inspecting, analysing and reporting test data will change the way engineers manage and mine test data.
The latest version of the interactive software includes DIAdem DataFinder which gives engineers and scientists the power to perform Internet-like searches across their data files, regardless of format. It is said to bring sophisticated data management and data mining functionality to the desktop at a fraction of the cost and without the maintenance challenges found in traditional ITsupported data management solutions.
Engineers can use DIAdem DataFinder to search for all tests with a specific serial number, status and test type. After narrowing the data set, engineers then can use DIAdem to perform further analysing and reporting. It can also be used to uncover anomalies or trends.
