July 1st 2008 Condition based monitoring and
asset management expert, Drive
Management Services (DMS) and
industrial consultant AV Technology
(AVT) have announced a strategic
alliance in which DMS will supply
AVT's Spi-VR portable vibration
data-collection system and webbased
monitoring portal as part of
its condition based monitoring and
power transmission consultancy
services.
The Spi-VR is a fully functional
vibration analyser and inspection
data recorder that runs on a range
of commercially available PDAs.

our clients analyse the data they
have collected with the Spi-VR by
simply logging onto
their secure web
portal," says
