For solvents
July 1st 2004

The Liquiflo 33 series magnetically coupled gear pump from Michael Smith Engineers pumps solvent based products with viscosities from 0.2 to 10cps.

It incorporates a Dual-Kan (double wall containment can) and clamp-on design temperature control jacket, making it suitable for liquids transfer applications that require precise and uniform temperature control.

Such temperature control is commonly required when pumping liquids that solidify or become viscous when temperature decreases. Either steam or a hot liquid can be used to circulate through the jackets and the Dual-Kan to ensure the entire pump operates at an even temperature.

Base material is Hastelloy C276 and the pump has silicone carbide bearings and tungsten carbide coated shaft.
