Clean running
May 1st 2008

Master Chemical is continuing development of its established products, introducing the low mineral oil, semi synthetic, TRIM SC609. The high ester lubricant content of TRIM SC609 allows machining performance and tool life similar to that of high oil emulsions. Additionally it has the wetting and cooling characteristics of a premium synthetic for superior grinding results. The company says field trial reports have found it is exceptionally clean running. The general purpose machining coolant for ferrous and non-ferrous materials is particularly effective in the machining and grinding of cast iron, steel and stainless steel.

Aluminium alloys can also be machined effectively as with the high level of ester lubricants; the product doesn't stain these materials or yellow metals.
