Steel flow sensors May 1st 2007 Available from ifm electronic, the
all-stainless steel SI5000 is the
latest in a line of solid-state flow
sensors. A key feature of the range
is a housing made of stainless
steel, in addition to wetted parts.
The range uses ifm's calorimetric
measuring principle, allowing the
sensor to operate with no wear at
all, while providing high sensitivity
and repeatability. The measuring
range covers 3 to 300cm/s for
liquids and 200 to 3000cm/s for
gases. Temperatures can vary
between -25 and 80°C.
Other features include pushbutton
setting of switching points
and multicolour LEDs to indicate
flow and switch points. More articles from ifm electronic Limited: |
