September 1st 2006 ABB has expanded its range of flowmeter wallcharts with a new guide that provides information about vortex and swirl flowmeters.
The chart spells out the respective benefits of both types of meter and has pictures of meters in-situ to show the types of applications where each can be used. These include monitoring and targeting programmes aimed at measuring steam and hot water across a site.
The high accuracy delivered by the meters make them suitable for pinpointing energy consumption to exact departments and processes and for helping encourage greater energy efficiency.
An at-a-glance selection table at the centre of the wallchart shows the different substances that swirl and that vortex meters can measure.
