Vision in infrared
September 1st 2005

A new series of non-contact, infrared temperature sensors from Raytek has real-time video recording capability and is suited to a broad range of process monitoring applications.

The Marathon MM series covers a temperature range of -40 to 3000°C and consists of five IR temperature sensor models, each with a specific measurement wavelength and temperature range appropriate for low or high temperature monitoring.

All sensors feature identical installation hardware and include Raytek DataTemp Multidrop software to enable easy and consistent installation, configuration and data capture across the full breadth of process monitoring applications.

All sensors provide integrated through-the-lens sighting and either laser or video sighting for correct aiming and target location.

Optical resolution of up to 300:1 enables targets with a spot size as small as 0.6mm to be measured accurately from a distance of 150mm with a response time as fast as 2msec.
