Quiet pneumatics
January 1st 2007 Silvent has developed a series of safety silencers for installation on pneumatic valves. Equipped with a patented warning indicator that shows when backpressure in the system becomes too high due to contaminates in the diffuser, this means service personnel to both see and, through an elevated noise level, hear that it is time to change the silencer before costly and unnecessary production stoppage. Since the safety silencer's warning indicator extends when activated, it is also possible to utilise electronic monitoring to automatically stop the machine for silencer replacement.
