Class 0 oil-free air
September 1st 2007 Atlas Copco Kolfor, a company
within the Atlas Copco Speciality
Rental Division has introduced new
products for companies to rent.
These include the TÜV certified
Class 0, portable PTS, PNS and Z
range of oil-free screw
compressors. All possible oil forms
were measured across a wide
range of temperatures and
pressures and the TÜV found no
trace of oil in the output air stream.
Atlas Copco received certification
for a new industry standard of air
purity: ISO 8573-1 Class 0.
Also available, the CE and DNV
compliant 20ft containerised T3
diesel-driven air/nitrogen boosters
can produce outlet pressures of up
to 155bar – 3000cfm discharge
and are suitable for operation
across the range -10 to 40°C.
