Lapp has extended its Skintop range of cable glands with the introduction of the Skintop Click, a fast and flexible cable entry system that can save installation time on a wide range of applications, such as switch cabinets, automation systems and plant construction.

Lapp says that its latch system makes cable mounting up to 70% faster just click in, turn left, turn right, and the gland is fixed, centred, strain relieved to EN50262 and hermetically sealed to protection class IP68.

The system has builtin protection against vibration and can be mounted in any position without the need for a special mounting tool or additional clamping ring.

The range includes the Skintop Click-R, with a reducing seal insert for tightening of small clamping ranges.
