Exhaust gas analyser July 1st 2006 Autoflame Engineering has given details of its Exhaust Gas Analyser (EGA) designed for the boiler and process manufacturing market.
The system operates by using a conventional probe to draw off exhaust gases and relaying them via tubing to the wall mounted EGA. Microprocessors are used to monitor the sample conditioning system and analysing sensors result in drift free measurement.
When the sample reaches the EGA, it is initially cooled and all water content is removed by a specially designed gas cooler and finally filtered. The sample is controlled and monitored through the measurement section by an internal pump and then released into the atmosphere or into a drain.
EGA is designed to operate unattended to measure many types of gases, including oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide. The system also has the ability to monitor exhaust gas temperature, ambient temperature and combustion efficiency if required. |
