Tough grease

Molykote HP-300 is a fully fluorinated grease that can withstand harsh conditions such as low or high temperatures, corrosion, solvents and automotive fuels, liquefied natural gases and high vacuums.

Dave Garner, Dow Corning global marketer, says "Molykote HP-300 is formulated for compatibility with a variety of plastic parts, which allows it to be used in a wide range of applications." The product is compatible with most rubbers and plastics, is NSF H1 approved for applications involving incidental food contact, and has a temperature range of -65 to 250°C. It is said to be appropriate for long-term lubrication as it exhibits good resistance to oxidation.
