OIL/WATER SEPARATORS

Atlas Copco believes its OSC oil/water separator range will enable compressor operators to benefit from unparalleled levels of condensate separation efficiency and filter lifetime performance.

The range enables almost all condensates to be separated, including most condensate emulsions. The stable performance and trouble-free, simple operating principle eliminates the need for sensitive adjustments during commissioning and regular testing when in use. With the OSC units, condensate is separated through filtration, not gravitation.

Unlike many conventional separator designs relying on gravitational forces or weir separation, there is no standing water to pose a health risk to operators and the environment.

OSC units are insensitive to vibrations, shocks and splashes resulting in a flexible installation and reliable operation. Simple to install, they will operate with any type of condensate drain.

Oil density is no longer a key factor. No oil bottle is required, so there is no chance of previously separated condensate being contaminated if the system malfunctions.
