Training vital July 1st 2008 In the emergency evacuation and
equipment market, product
warranties are no substitute for
training and servicing, warns Mark
Wallace of Evac+Chair.
He says "Simply purchasing the
equipment regardless of the length
of product warranty is no longer
adequate. Training and servicing of
equipment is now just as important
under regulations such as the
Provision and Use of Work
Equipment Regulations 1998
(PUWER)."
Evac+Chair has various training
options including a 21/2 hour
hands-on, certified training course
for groups of up to four. There is
also a higher level course, and the
company offers a nationwide
inspection and maintenance service. More articles from Evac+Chair International Ltd: |
