Specialist training offered

A new company has been set up to provide specialist training, including forklift, crane, stowing and driving, to companies in the UK.

Skills South Training and Resources (STR) aims to become the UK’s leading training and resource company in its field within two years and its ambitious plans are backed by significant investment from holding company, Southampton Cargo Handling.

The STR training centre is fully equipped; however training can be conducted at a customer’s premises if required. Courses range from one day to one week and are designed on a national basis to enable companies to comply with current health and safety legislation.
