Safe Learner
July 1st 2008 With the backing and part funding
from the government's Learning
and Skills Council, JTL has
introduced a free Safe Learner
DVD, a tool that aims to encourage
employers industry-wide to adopt a
set of safe behaviour patterns and
reduce on site incidents.
Chrissy Falck, head of Learner
Health and Safety for the Learning
and Skills Council, says "The LSC
feel that the JTL DVD shows
originality in response to the
governments' Safe Learner
concept initiative. It is a good
demonstration of how the Safe
Learner blueprint tool can be
incorporated into any organisation
of any size and help incorporate
the development of safe learners
into safer workers." |
