New courses July 1st 2008 Occupational health and safety
charity, the British Safety Council
(BSC), has applied to become an
accredited centre to teach
NEBOSH qualifications.
The new courses will be
delivered alongside the BSC';s
existing qualifications, and will
enable the health and safety
organisation to offer a full suite of
accredited qualifications to meet
market needs.
Brian Nimick, chief executive of
the BSC, comments "The decision
to offer NEBOSH courses is in
keeping with our mission to
support a healthier, safer and more
sustainable society. With 241
deaths at work last year, it is vital
that people working in the health
and safety world are trained to the
highest standards to be able to
reduce deaths and injuries in the
workplace. More articles from British Safety Council: |
