Tough comfort
July 1st 2007

Refurbishment and development, coupled with improved health and safety standards, mean that several Scottish breweries, distilleries and bonded warehouses are now using large quantities of Heronair matting, according to Plastic Extruders.

Typical applications include bottling and areas where liquor is poured into barrels, as well as safety walkways.

The hardwearing, open-grid matting is of a cushioned and flexible construction and is said to perform as a slip-resistant and antifatigue floorcovering. The company says it is particularly suitable for spills and work environments where employees constantly stand. It can be loose-laid and cut to any shape.

Samples/catalogue are available.
