To cut the risk of trauma injury should an employee fall from a machine and become suspended by a harness, AFI Aerial Platforms has introduced the suspension Trauma safety strap.

If someone is suspended for a period of time, blood begins to pool in the veins of their legs and, unless they are rescued rapidly, they face serious injury or death.

The trauma strap allows the suspended worker to stand up in their harness to relieve the pressure being applied to arteries and veins at the top of the legs.

The continuous loop deign means that by placing one foot or both feet in the loop, pressure will be relieved until help arrives.
