May 1st 2006 With concern over accidents from work at height and liability issues for employers, Versalift has been fielding calls for advice from new sectors in advance of tighter regulations on working at height, implemented last April. These limit the use of temporary structures and ladders, fuelling a demand for vehicle mounted access platforms.
Versalift offers a full line of van and truck mounted hydraulic platforms with a choice of boom configurations for working heights of 9-25 m. They range from 2.85 tonnes 4WD pick-up trucks and jackless 2.9 tonnes vans, to long reach - over 7.5 tonnes chassis cabs - and specialist 4WD insulated platforms.
