New campaign
September 1st 2007 Marigold Industrial will be
launching a campaign at Health &
Safety 07 to protect the hands and
arms of people working in the meat
processing sector.
The company says that despite
the effectiveness of the HSE's
Recipe for Success campaign in
driving down workplace injuries in
the food production sector, the
combined injury rate for the food
and drink industry remains among
the highest of any manufacturing
injury rate in the UK.
Hand injuries, especially in the
meat processing sector, are a major
cause of worker injury, a situation
that Marigold Industrial plans to
address through various initiatives
over a three month campaign.
Visitors to the Marigold Industrial
stand can enter a draw to win a
corporate day out at a top Premier
League match at the Reebok.
