Circuit breaker panel
May 1st 2008 ABB's new compact UniGear ZS1
fixed pattern circuit breaker panel,
fitted with Vmax/F circuit breaker, is
the latest addition to the UniGear
ZS1 range of metal-clad AIS MV
switchgear.
Together with ABB's range of LV
and MVswitchgear, cast resin and
oil/Midel transformers, the new
fixed circuit breaker panel enables
the company to offer a fully
integrated, one-stop-shop package
for indoor primary power
distribution installations such as
offices and data centres.
The unit coordinates completely
with ABB's UniGear ZS1 portfolio
so, for example, it is possible to
specify on the same busbar a
UniGear panel with withdrawable
incomer, fixed circuit breaker
outgoing, and additional motor
starter switchgear. The panel has
been designed for maximum safety
and reliability, with mechanical
interlocks between circuit breaker,
three-position line disconnector
