Audiometric testing September 1st 2008 New from Castle Group, the
Excalibur audiometer uses the
power of a PC or laptop to
efficiently carry out audiometric
testing and store the results. The
comprehensive data management
capability of the Excalibur system
adds further flexibility and control.
Regular software updates mean
the user is always up to date with
changes in the regulations, or
codes of practice.
Connecting directly to a PC or
laptop, the Excalibur is reported to
be simple to use, with prompts on
the PC screen to guide the
examiner through the testing
process.
Features include the ability to
compare new data with previous
test results for category 1 analysis.
The system can even generate
letters that recall patients for
testing. Whole 'batches' of test
data can then easily be analysed to
give management statistics.
Castle also offers a three-day
training course in Industrial
Audiometry. More articles from Castle Group Limited: |
