PRODUCTS’ RUSSIAN APPROVAL

Systems integrators supplying fire and control systems to the fastgrowing Russian oil and gas sector must ensure that all components have the relevant approvals. E2S, manufacturer of explosion-proof sounders and beacons for use in hazardous areas, has gained Russian approval for all of its BEx range. The GOST R approval joins ATEX and IECEx approvals.

The BEx range is available in EEx d and EEx de ratings, is suitable for Zones 1, 21, 2 and 22 gas and dust environments. The family consists of 110 and 117dB(A) sounders, 15 and 25W loudspeakers, 110 and 113dB(A) Appello voice and tone sounders, 5, 10 and 15 Joule beacons and combination units.

A large termination area helps to simplify installation.
