Interlock Switch

Scientific Technologies Inc (STI) has introduced a new safety interlock switch that is designed to provide reliable and resilient safety interlocking in a wide range of industrial applications, including washdown environments.

The new, all-metal body T4016 switch is available in four pole formats, allowing dual channel safety switching and status monitoring. The IP67-rated, robust metal housing and stainless steel actuator make it suitable for applications that need water resistance, such as food and beverage processing.

With a lifespan of two million operations, the unit is designed with reliability and longevity in mind. Its narrow profile allows it to be mounted directly on 2in square conduit and in confined spaces.

The rotatable head provides eight possible actuator positions, while an optional heavy duty slide bolt provides an integral door handle and includes an actuator.
