Tagging for T5
November 1st 2007 Italian building envelope and cladding specialist Permasteelisa has a team of 120 staff based at Heathrow's T5, erecting a staggering nine miles of interior glass cladding for the walls of the main terminal building. Nigel Ree, the company's health, safety and environment manager, has to ensure that thousands of 5 by 4m sheets of glass are installed safely. Helping him are information management solutions from Scafftag. These include MEWP Tag (for mobile elevated work platforms), Podium Tag, Laddertag, and LOLER Tag for lifting equipment.
