Software simplifies inspection and auditing

Injuries at work remain a major concern and auditing, inspection and risk assessment are a crucial measure to avoid any further increase. Compliance, safety and quality are now motivators for the corporate agenda to ensure that organisations are doing all they can to offer a healthy and safe working environment.

A new field mobility inspection and auditing software solution, ESafe 100 has been developed by Knowledge Online to carry out real time analysis in areas such as health and safety, environmental and snagging.

The software solution can be instantly deployed through the company's Managed Service Solution and will automate previously manual processes.

Knowledge Online has teamed up with Motorola to offer the robust Symbol PDA that incorporates other applications: camera, gprs, sketching and note taking facilities, as well as a conventional qwerty keyboard.

E-SAFE 100 is said to dramatically reduce the amount of manual reporting by capturing data electronically and downloading it to Knowledge Online's business information management system for monitoring and analysis.

The software conducts real-time analysis that can be used to check health and safety performance, carry out snagging inspections, compare contractor performance, measure for best practice and allow for the automated escalation of an alert if necessary.
