Sign of the times
July 1st 2007

From 1st July, the Smoking ban will be introduced in all public places in England, which means workplaces must become smoke-free zones.

The law states that No Smoking signs should be displayed in a prominent position at the entrance to all premises. Similarly, a sign should be displayed in each compartment of a company vehicle that is used by more than one person.

Spectrum Industrial offers a wide range of signs in different sizes and specifications and also offers a bespoke sign service.

Signs are featured in a free, 120- page catalogue that details more than 4000 products.

John Billington, sales manager says "Many businesses are still not aware that they need to display the correct No Smoking signage in order to meet with the legislation.

After 1st July, failure to do so could result in a significant fine.
