No Smoking: range of signs May 1st 2007 From 1st July 2007, the entire UK
will be banned from smoking in
enclosed public spaces. With fines
of up to £2500 for those in charge
of premises who fail to stop people
smoking, and on-the-spot fines of
£200 if they have failed to display
no-smoking signs (up to £1000 if
the case goes to court), the nosmoking
ban needs to be taken
seriously.
Screwfix has in its latest
catalogue a range of 'No-Smoking'
aids. Included among almost 15
000 building, refurbishment and
maintenance items, available ex
stock, are 'No-Smoking' signs,
cigarette bins and shelters.
The 'No-Smoking' signs are
shown alongside other messages,
such as 'No Smoking beyond this
point' and 'No Smoking in this
building'. Symbols and selfadhesive
vinyl labels are also
available.
The catalogue details Wansbeck
all-purpose shelters, for use in all
weathers, and an open shelter with
