Detects gases

Draeger believes its new gas detector to be the first of its kind to meet the needs of toxic and oxygen requirements from a single platform. The modular and versatile Polytron 7000 is suitable for use in any application requiring intrinsically safe gas detection.

Featuring a host of options that can be mixed and matched to suit different applications, the device can be upgraded as and when needed. Offering 4-20mA and HART fieldbus capabilities as well as sensor self-checking and data/event logging software, the system also provides pump, relay and remote sensor modules.

It is compatible with the PDA m515-Ex that can be used to configure the transmitter, transfer concentration data to a PC, or to copy one configuration to another transmitter.
