body monitoring system has been
designed by Hidalgo to protect the
lives of individuals working in the
field, especially those in high-risk
situations. The company says
relatively minor physical traumas
can be fatal if not treated within an
hour. By continously monitoring the
welfare of operational personnel
and reporting this information via
wireless back to a central
monitoring point, the Equivital
Physiology Monitor enables rapid
detection, assessment and medical
intervention for individuals
sustaining potentially lifethreatening
injuries.
The system comprises a range
of sensors in a body-mounted,
