Access role July 1st 2006 Booms and scissor lifts from AFI Aerial Platforms were used by electrical services contractor WT Parker during the construction of a car parts manufacturing centre in Derbyshire.
Dave Jordan of WT Parker says "Without the scissor and boom lifts we would have had to resort to scaffolding, with all the inherent problems and time delays that such a system would have entailed in such a huge internal space.
"We were able to hire the access machines as and when we needed them over the six months of the contract. The fact that AFI can supply on demand and from local depots means we only had machines on site when we actually needed them."
A total of 10 scissor and boom lifts were used, including Liftlux, Genie, Skyjack and Haulotte models. More articles from AFI Aerial Platforms Ltd.: |
